This Privacy Policy applies to certain information, as defined below, that Sinocare Inc, and its affiliates (collectively, “Sinocare,” “our,” “we” or “us”) collects through the website (the “Services”).

Your privacy is important to us, we understand that you are concerned about how your information is used and shared, and we value your trust handling it responsibly and thoughtfully. This Privacy Policy explains what information Sinocare collects from you and how it is used. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy, which may include the collection, organization, structuring, storage, use, and disclosure of your information as necessary for the provision of the Services.

Shopify

All technical data operations-including storage and processing-are managed by Shopify in accordance with the Services are powered by Shopify. The way your information is stored and processed can be referenced in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for further details.

What kind of information do we collect about you?

We may collect several types of information from and about users of the Services, including information:

  • By which you may be personally identified directly or indirectly, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline ("Personal Information");
  • That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as Clickstream data, Visited page URLs, Language preference; and
  • About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access this website, and usage details.

For categories of sensitive Personal Information that we collect, we only use or disclose such information either with your specific consent when required, or as otherwise permitted by law.

What information do we collect and share about you?

We may collect or obtain your personal information when you visit, use or register to use any part of our Services.

1. Information Provided by Users 

  • Your Profile and Contact information: You provide your email or log in for a third-party account (like Facebook, Google and X), to create an online account (“Account”). When creating your Account and placing an order through our Services, you may be asked to enter certain information as follows: your name, shipping address, telephone number and email address. If you refuse to provide such information, you may not be able to use the Services properly.
  • Payment information: We use third-party payment processors (currently Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal) to securely process your personal identifiable payment information. When you place an order through our Services, the credit card information that you provide is encrypted and transmitted directly to the third-party payment processors. We do not have access to or store your payment information. We are not responsible for the collection, use or handling of your personal payment information by any other third-party payment processors. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

  • Customer Support: When you contact us, you may provide information regarding your use of the Services, including details information about the Sinocare health products you own, order you have placed and your contact details. This allows us to offer you customer support tailored to your specific needs. 

2. Automatically Collected Information

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including: (a) Details of your visits to our website, including location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the website. (b) Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

The information we collect automatically is only statistical data and does not include Personal Information, but we may maintain it or associate it with Personal Information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our website and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to: (a) Estimate our audience size and usage patterns; (b) Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the website according to your individual interests; (c)Speed up your searches; (d) Recognize you when you return to the Website.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies: Cookies are small text files that are sent to or accessed from your web browser or your computer’s hard drive. A cookie typically contains the domain name from which it originated, its expiration date, and a unique identifier. Cookies may also store information about your device, such as user settings, browsing history, and activities while using our Services. You may change your cookie preferences at any time through the Cookie Settings page in your account.
  • Analytics services: Sinocare also uses analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to collect and analyze user data. Generally, analytics services do not identify individual users. Many analytics services allow you to opt out of data collection. For example, to learn more about Google Analytics practices and to opt out, visit google.com/settings/ads or by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at Google's instruction.

We do not collect personal information automatically, but we may combine non-personal information gathered automatically with personal information about you that we collect from other sources or that you provide to us.

3. Third-Party Information

We may collect or obtain your Personal Information from third parties who provide it to us. If you use a third-party connection or log-in (e.g., Facebook, Google, X and other accounts) to access the Services, we may receive your username or email address for those third-party services or any other information available about your third-party account profile. We do not have access to your third-party Account passwords. 

If you choose to interact with content or use services provided by any third party, your use of such services is subject to the privacy policies of those third-party providers. 

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect about you or that you provide to us, may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To present our Services and its contents to you. We will use Personal Information to present the websites and contents in a suitable and effective manner for you and your device.
  • To process transactions that you make through the Services. We may use your information to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered between you and us, including for billing and collection.
  • To send periodic emails that make you keep up with our updated policies and advertise opportunities, promotions, products, events or Services that may be of interest to you.
  • To improve our Services and customizing. We will use your Personal Information to provide you with customer service to troubleshooting issues and respond to requests, questions, or comments. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.
  • To ensure security and privacy. We use your information to verify Account details and activity. We also use your information to promote the security and privacy of the Services, such as investigating suspicious activities or violations of our terms.

We may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers' target audience. Even though we do not disclose your Personal Information for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria. You could simply opt-out this sharing in the personal profile.

How is this information shared?

We treat customer information as a vital part of our business and do not share it for monetary gain. Sharing of your information only occurs under strict conditions, either with our subsidiaries, who are required to fully comply with this Privacy Policy, or with third parties that implement equivalent safeguards as outlined below. All legally bound to maintain protection standards that meet or exceed those described herein.

  • Third-party providers: We may share your information with third-party providers who assist us in operate, provide, analyze, improve, understand, customize, support, and market the Services. For example, we use Shopify to power the website and to support business functions such as payment processing. You may opt out of our sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising by using the relevant settings available in Shopify website. 
  • Third-party services: When you use third-party services that integrate with our Services, such as logging in through a third-party account or accessing embedded services—those third parties may receive your information. Please note that your use of such services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
  • Regulatory and legal compliance: We may also share your information as needed to: (a) comply with applicable law or respond to, investigate or participate in valid legal process and proceedings, including to any government or regulatory request; (b) detect, prevent or investigate potential violations of its Terms of Use or policies, the potential fraud, abuse, or safety and security concerns; (c) resolve disputes and enforce agreements; (d) if we believe the disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety or us, our customers, or others.

Will Personal Information be transferred across borders?

We operate in multiple countries worldwide, including but not limited to the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, the European Union, South Korea, and the Philippines. Please note that the personal information we collect, and process may be transferred and stored outside your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction. In some cases, the privacy laws in those locations may not provide the same level of protection as those in your location, including in the United States. Under the GDPR, such transfers are allowed when necessary for the performance of a contract between you and us, if we obtain your explicit consent, or if the transfer is of our legitimate interest. When transferring personal information from the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, or other countries with cross-border transfer regulations, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the use of standard contractual clauses.

Children’s Privacy

  • The Services are not directed to or intended for use by children. If you are under 18 (Please note that the applicable age varies by jurisdiction), you may use our Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, disclose, or otherwise process Personal Information from children under the age of 18 in other circumstances, including through Online Services or Interactions without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
  • If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at support@sinocare.com. We will take steps to delete or destroy that information. To submit a privacy request on behalf of your minor child in compliance with applicable law, you are required to provide sufficient information to enable us to reasonably verify your child’s identity and confirm that you are authorized to act on their behalf.
  • While the Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 18, if you are under age 18 and you are unable to remove the information that you have submitted to us, you may request its removal by contacting us at: support@sinocare.com. When requesting removal, please be specific about the information you want removed and provide us with specific details, such as your account information and order details, so that we can locate it more easily. 
  • Residents of certain states under 18 years of age may have additional rights regarding the collection and sale of their Personal Information. (e.g., the right to opt out of data 'sales' in California).

Your rights over your information

We provide you with access and control of your Personal Information no matter wherever you are resident. You may have the right to request review, manage, correct, amend or delete your information. We will not discriminate against you because you exercised any of your privacy rights, including but not limited to charge you more or provide you with a different level of service. Depending on your jurisdiction, the following rights may apply, or provide you with additional rights, subject to certain exceptions:

(a) Right to request access to your personal information.
(b) Right to correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information in certain circumstances.
(c) Right to delete/erase Personal Information about you.
(d) Right to obtain your Personal Information in a portable and readily usable form. 
(e) Right to opt-out of sharing your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
(f) Right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
(g) Right to limit or require consent to process sensitive Personal information.

  • Additional California Disclosures: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users who are California residents to obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information (if any) for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and you wish to make such a request, please send an e-mail with “California Privacy Rights” in the subject line to support@sinocare.com.
  • European Users’ Rights: If you are not happy with our response to a request, you can contact us to resolve the issue. If you are in the European Union (“EU”), an European Economic Area member state (“EEA”), United Kingdom (“UK”), or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection or privacy authority at any time. 

We will make a reasonable effort to process your requests regarding access, deletion, correction or portability of your information. Should additional time be required, we will notify you of the delay and the reason for such an extension. To ensure security, we may require identity verification before processing your request. Please note that certain legal restrictions or our inability to verify your identity may prevent us from fulfilling some requests.

How can you manage information about you, including your Account?

  • Amend your Information: You can update your phone number, and other information that you have provided to us. To review and edit your account profile information, simply log in to your account and visit the account settings page.
  • Unsubscribe periodical emails: If you wish to manage your communication preferences, such as unsubscribing from our emails, detailed unsubscribed instructions are provided at the bottom of each email. 
  • Delete your Account: To delete your account and all associated Personal Information, you may do so from your account settings page or contact us at support@sinocare.com. Some information may be retained where required by law.
  • Retention and anonymization: We are not required to remove any content or information if a specific exception under the applicable law applies, or if we implement the authorized measures to reduce your privacy risk, such as anonymizing the content or rendering it invisible to other users and the public, which would fulfill our legal obligations under applicable law. You should be aware that removal of your content or information from the Service does not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of that content or information from our systems or the systems of our Services providers.

How long will the data be stored?

We will retain your information as long as it is necessary to provide the Services, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, or until you delete your account, whichever comes first. In certain cases, we may be required to keep the information for legitimate purposes. If so, we will take steps to de-identify, anonymize, or remove personally identifiable details from the retained records to minimize any associated risks, where possible.

We will only process your information as needed to provide the Services and will not retain it beyond operational requirements or for backup purposes. Your information will be stored and processed in compliance with the legal requirements of your geographic location, including regional storage mandates (e.g., EU data stored within GDPR-compliant zones).
You can access and update certain Personal Information we hold about you at any time by logging into your account via the Services.

Third-Party Link and Products

When you click on links within this website, they may direct you to third-party websites or services. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or the website’s Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

We may provide specific products, programs, or services that come with distinct or supplementary terms, privacy policies, and/or consent forms, which outline how we handle Personal Information. For details on any product-specific features, notices, or terms, please refer to the applicable terms for those products and services.

How do we protect your information?

We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. To ensure the safety of your information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your information, we offer the use of a secure server. All supplied personally identifiable payment information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. If required by law to do so, we will notify you and/or the relevant supervisory authority in the event of a data breach. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security, as no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure.

Additionally, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Sinocare reserves the right to revise and update this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If we make any changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the website homepage. For material changes that significantly affect how we process your Personal Information, we will provide additional notice through email. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, as dated above, and apply to the Services thereafter. Your continued use of the Services after the time the changes are posted will indicate your acceptance of those revised changes, so please review it periodically.
